It created a unique contrast of ambitions and aspirations, but also provided an outstanding showcase of individuals who raced with added motivation after just missing an opportunity to qualify for the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, as well as performers who used the Sound Running event as an opportunity to remain sharp and build momentum ahead of the Aug. 19-27 global final in Hungary.
